What time is check-in and check-out?
You can check in from 3 pm onwards. Check-out before 12 pm.
Can I check in before 3 pm?
If your room is ready, you can check in before 3 pm without any problem. If you arrive earlier and it is not ready, don't worry, you can leave your luggage with us and we will store it for you for as long as you need.
Is the reception desk open 24/7?
Yes, our reception is open 24/7.
Do rates include breakfast?
No, but we’ll be happy to tell you where you can have a delicious Chilango breakfast at a very good price.
Do you have shared rooms just for women?
Yes, you can choose between a mixed room or a women-only room.
Do the shared rooms have bathrooms?
Bathrooms are shared and are located outside the rooms.
Are there lockers in the shared rooms to store my belongings?
Yes, each cabin has its own private closet that closes.
Are there private rooms with private bathrooms?
Yes! And they are not just any type of rooms; they are suites, and some have a terrace with a private jacuzzi. We also have private rooms with shared bathrooms.
Do you offer tours to see the Lucha Libre, visit Teotihuacán, Xochimilco and other sites in CDMX?
Yes, we have a super fun and varied activities schedule so you can live different local experiences during your stay.
Do you have restaurant?
No, but in our Bar you can order food from a menu of Mexican snacks (such as tacos, tortas and sopes) that we have created with our friends at Casa Churra.
Is there a kitchen to cook my food?
No, but we do have the basic services, convention oven, toaster, etc.
Is there a laundry room to wash my clothes?
No, but we will be happy to tell you where you can find a laundry service near Barrio.
Do you have luggage storage?
Yes, you can leave your luggage with us for as long as you need.
Is there free Wi-Fi?
Of course! Our Wi-Fi is super powerful, so anywhere in the hostel you will have high-speed connection.
Is the coworking space included in the accommodation rate?
Yes, all guests can use our coworking space on the hostel’s rooftop.
Are there public transportation stations nearby?
Of course! We have several metro and metrobús stations very close. Metro: San Juan de Letrán (only 1 block away), Bellas Artes, Allende, Zócalo and Isabel La Católica. Metrobús: El Salvador is the closest station, just a 2-minute walk away. You can also request a transfer service.
Can I cancel my reservation?
Depends on the reservation channel and terms and conditions.
Do you accept pets?
Currently, our areas are not pet-friendly, but if this changes, we will post it on our website and social networks.

How do I get to Barrio from the airport?

Mexico City’s International Airport is connected to the historic center by metro (subway) and metrobús. 

The closest metro station to Barrio is San Juan de Letrán (just 1 block away). From the airport, you can board the metro at the Terminal Aérea station, located in Terminal 1.

To get here by metrobús, there are 2 routes: north and south. If you take the north route, you must get off at the Bellas Artes station and walk 10 minutes to Barrio. If you take the south route, you must get off at El Salvador station, located just around the corner from the hostel, a 2-minute walk.

In the airport’s Terminal 1, you will find the metrobús stop at gate 7. In Terminal 2, you will find it at gate 2. 

If you prefer to arrive by taxi, at the airport you will find authorized taxi services that are safe to use. Digital platforms such as Uber, Didi Beat and Cabify are prohibited at the airport.
